Suspicious vehicle stop leads to charges

Two people have been charged after RCMP noticed a stolen vehicle while on patrol.

The truck entered a south east subdivision and when the two occupants tried to walk away officers pursued them on foot. A female was quickly apprehended while Police Dog Services attended and were able to take a man in to custody. Police say the stolen vehicle also contained drugs and a firearm.

27 year old Jeremie Laframboise is facing a total of 13 charges and is due in court October 25. 43 year old Christina Summers is facing nine and is scheduled to appear in court October 11. The charges include possession of stolen property, unsafe storage of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
