A different section of Lakeland Drive has been completely closed to traffic. Drivers now won’t be able to use the road from 123 Avenue to 94 Street.
The entire stretch from 116th to 95th Street is being repaved in sections, and the work started on July 11th. Crews starts by grinding off the top layer of pavement and will now be starting to repair catch basins, replace culverts and do other storm work.
After that, they’ll lay and fill gravel to create a new base for the road, also in sections. Lastly, they’ll wrap up with concrete and paving. Things should be done by early September.
