Road construction starts in the Highland Park area on Friday. On July 28th, work will begin on 98A Street and 98 Street on the stretch from 84 Avenue to 88 Avenue.
The project is expected to wrap up late August. Sidewalks will be replaced on the east side of 98 Street as well as some minor concrete work. Removing the top layer of road and paving work is also on the agenda for the road.
There will be flaggers and construction workers in the area. The public is asked to drive with caution and drive the speed limit near the zone at 30 kilometres an hour.
