Grande Prairie business owner fined for not filing taxes

A local business owner has been fined $8,000 dollars by Canada Revenue Agency for failing to file four years of tax returns for himself and his company.

Jordan Murray, director of Grande Prairie’s Shocker Energy Services, has plead guilty to missing personal and corporate returns for 2008 to 2011.

He has until next January to pay taxes owing, plus interest, and the fines.
