Another road downtown will be closed starting Thursday as the city continues its road rehab project. As of early Thursday morning, 101st Avenue will be completely closed to traffic between 100th Street and 101st Street.
Driving and parking won’t be allowed, but there will still be pedestrian access. Crews will be tearing up the road and sidewalks to install underground water, sanitary and storm infrastructure.
101st Avenue is already closed between 99th and 100th Ave and from north of 100th Ave to the alley north of 102nd. All businesses downtown remain open.
