If you are walking around on the trails in the city, expect to come across some construction. Work on the trails around the city start Wednesday, June 7th in Grande Prairie.
Construction starts first in South Bear Creek from the Ball Diamonds to Country Club West. Once this part is done, crews will move to the Lakeland area.
There will be an asphalt overlay to extend the life of the trails and to fix some problem areas.
Both areas of work is set to be complete within a week.
