You may notice a group of men wearing red high heels near the Community Village Parking Lot this Friday. The Walk a Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with shoe pick up and registration.
The event is put on in support of PACE and it is used to encourage dialogue around issues of sexual violence against women.
There is a $25 fee to take part with a BBQ and foot rubs to follow.
It can be paid online or at the PACE office.
PACE stands for Providing Assistance, Counseling, & Education. More information about the organization can be found on their website.
