Suspects arrested during in-progress break and enter

Three teens have been arrested for a break and enter in Grande Prairie. A neighbour called police after hearing a loud bang in the area of 99 Aveneue and 90 Street just before 10 a.m. on May 4th.

The witness saw that the rear patio door of a house had been smashed, and a suspicious vehicle was idling in front. One man stayed in the vehicle while two others went inside the home.

When RCMP arrived the man was still waiting outside. The two others were found inside and all three were arrested. Stolen property was also turned up in the investigation.

19 year old Jarrett Maloney, 18 year old Dylan Prince and 18 year old Dylan Sutton are all facing break and enter and possession of stolen property over $5,000 charges. Maloney is also charged with driving without insurance and failing to comply with a probation order.

Prince and Sutton are also charged with disguise with intent to commit an offence. Prince’s charges also include breach of recognizance, while Sutton’s include possession of a prohibited weapon with intent to commit an offence, unlawful possession of prohibited weapon, and failing to comply with a court order.

All three men are in police custody and will appear on court on May 8th. The stolen things will be returned to their rightful owners.
