People wanting to learn more about the Grande Prairie Sports Council are invited to attend a special meet and greet event tomorrow night. Executive Director Karna Germsheid says anyone with an interest in sport is encouraged to attend.
“We exist to enahnce the growth and development of sport. Â So if you are a program director for youth or adults, if you are an advocate of sport, if you are part of a sport organization – whether you are volunteering for it, administrative, coaches, people that are participating, parents.”
The gathering, which goes from 5-7 tomorrow night at the County Sportsplex, will also see the launch of the Sports Council’s website, as well as a sport directory.
