Students in the third year of the Carpentry Apprentices course at GPRC Fairview had the opportunity this week to tour the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital that is currently under construction. The five students and two instructors got a first hand look at the commercial construction process, which is a major focus of their curriculum this year. Integrated steel reinforcement, concrete forming, and column forming were also key points of interest during the tour.
