Peace region students at Skills Canada National Competition

Two Peace region students are in Toronto this week for the 2014 Skills Canada National Competition.

Jillian Lovas of Grande Prairie and Keiran Hodges of Beaverlodge earned their spots at the provincial challenge last month.

GPRC student Lovas won gold in graphic design, and Hodges from NAIT won in refrigeration..

They’re up against 500 of the county’s best skilled trade and technology students and apprectices.

The winners will compete in the WorldSkills competition in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
