Easter activities set for the long weekend

It is the Easter long weekend and the city of Grande Prairie is hosting events for families to take part in. A Muskoseepi Park Eggstravaganza is being held on Saturday. The city is inviting kids ages 2 to 10 to do some cookie decorating, games, face painting and an easter egg hunt. The cost for the event is $5.

The East Link Centre is holding an event on Good Friday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Families can expect easter egg colouring and egg hunting. Members can participate or pay a drop in rate.

Some city facilities will be closed for Good Friday including the Coco-cola Centre, Dave Barr Community Centre and Revolution Place. The Montrose Cultural Centre will be closed Good Friday, Sunday as well as Easter Monday.
