St. Mary’s Catholic School in Sexsmith has two new administrators taking the wheel.
Darren Redl has been named as the Assistant District Principal of the school. He started with the Grande Prairie and District Catholic Schools in 2010. With his time as a teacher, he has coached sports including volleyball, badminton, basketball and track and field. He is set to join Jennifer Rimmer in Sexsmith in April.
Jennifer Rimmer is the new principal at St. Mary’s. She took over the position this March after four years filling in as the assistant principal at the school. On top of filling in, Rimmer was the Guidance Counselor, Work Experience Coordinator and Classroom Support Teacher for two years. She is currently working on her Master of Science in Teacher Leadership with Walden University.
