Mounties cleared in shooting of former Mantracker sidekick near Grande Cache

The Alberta Serious Incident Response team has wrapped up their investigation into the RCMP shooting of a former reality TV star near Grande Cache last summer.

RCMP say they were attempting to pull over a suspected impaired driver on August 1 2013, when the situation escalated, and the man was reportedly shot in the leg and arm.

The man was later identified by family as Curtis Hallock, who appeared in two seasons of OLN’s popular outdoor reality show Mantracker.

ASIRT has determined that the two officers were justified in the shooting, and will not be charged.
