Art appraised at $736K stolen from Fairview

Nearly three-quarters of a million dollars worth of art was stolen from a storage place in Fairview last fall. The theft was reported to local RCMP on September 22nd, 2016, and they’re still investigating. Officers from the Peace Regional General Investigation Section have also been called in to help.

The appraised value of the stolen artwork is roughly 736-thousand dollars, and multiple pieces are involved. Among the artists’ work stolen are Frederick Hart, Stephen Lyman, and Michael Godard. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
