A 56 year old man will spend a year behind bars with two years probation after pleading guilty to multiple charges. Irving Tobias Oldford was arrested in July and charged with persuading prostitution from a person under 18 and sexual assault.
RCMP say Oldford was trying to get young men to go into the sex trade in the city. Surveillance was set up in July where police witnessed, what they believed, was going to be a teen male be victimized.
He will spend two years in jail and his two year probation will have strict conditions.
