After a short foot chase on Saturday, a 34 year old has been arrested. At around 3:00 pm on December 17th, police located a vehicle parked in the Hillside area. RCMP looked into the suspicious vehicle further and confirmed that the vehicle was reported stolen at the end of November.
The suspect was located in the area and attempted to run from police. Christopher Hanson was arrested shortly after. He is facing charges for resisting arrest, possession of stolen property over $5000, theft under $5000, and two counts of failure to comply with conditions.
Hanson was also wanted on 10 outstanding warrants from Valleyview and Grande Prairie. He will appear in court on December 19th.
