Pedestrian killed in Fort St. John crash

A pedestrian has been killed in a crash in Fort St. John this morning. The collision happened around 7 a.m. local time at the intersection of 100th Avenue and 104th Street downtown.

RCMP say the 67 year old resident was crossing the road using a marked crosswalk when they were struck. An investigation continues with a collision analyst and the coroner, but speed and impairment are not considered factors.

Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the fatal collision.
