A man has been charged after officers had to avoid colliding with a truck Sunday.
At around 10:40 pm on Sunday, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to reports of a black Dodge Ram driving dangerously and driving the wrong way down Highway 43 near DeBolt. Police say that there were reports of the truck driving westbound in the eastbound lanes.
Before they were able to stop the vehicle, Officers had to take emergency action to avoid driving into the truck.
Kyle Schnurr of Lantzville, British Columbia has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, failure to comply with a breath demand, operation of motor vehicle while disqualified and failure to comply with probation order.
Schnurr will appear in Grande Prairie court on September 14th, 2016.
