There will be traffic disruptions downtown this week. The Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes project is set to begin construction.
There will be a closure on 101st Street between the CN rail tracks and 99th Avenue starting today. This means pedestrian and vehicle access to Revolution Place will be closed on the west side of the building.
Wapiti Gravel Suppliers will be putting up fencing and signage in preparation for surface removal beginning mid-week.
Although 101st Street is being worked on, the city says there will be minimal traffic disruptions on 99th Avenue located north of the construction.
