The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie Dream Home Lottery shared some money to local charities. Organizations were able to volunteer at the Dream Home helping sell tickets and were paid hourly to earn money for their cause.
$67,260 was given out this year to numerous groups including the Grande Prairie Catholic Family Services, Peace Wapiti Academy Band Parents and Grande Prairie Piranhas Swim Club.
Each of the Canadian Parents for French, 577 Air Cadets Parent Association and Northern Extreme Freestyle received $6,760. The funds help each organization with programming or equipment they may need.
