Three in custody after Fort St. John man stabbed

Four suspects have been arrested in connection to a stabbing of a 40 year old Fort St. John man. On May 31st, RCMP received reports of a man that had walked into the hospital with multiple stab wounds.

Officers received more information and they went to secure a residence at the 8900 block of 87th Avenue in preparation to get a search warrant. They came upon a 45 year old man in a car outside of the building and he was arrested and taken into custody.

RCMP found the second suspect at a residence in the 8200 block of 87th Street and arrested the 22 year old. Police say that while they were at this home they came across another vehicle driving down 87th Avenue which had two more suspects inside. The two 24 year old men were arrested and taken into custody. The first suspect was released but the other three suspects remain in custody.

The 40 year old victim is in stable condition.

The investigation continues.
