A snowfall warning has replaced the rainfall warning for the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview. 10 to 15 centimetres are expected by Friday afternoon, although more is possible in areas with higher terrain.
Here in GP we’re expecting five to 10 centimetres today mixed with rain, and then 10 centimetres of snow that will sometimes be heavy overnight. Because the snow could be heavy, residents should watch out for breaking tree branches. It could also reduce driving visibility and make travel difficult.
