A teen girl was killed in a fatal accident early Saturday morning near Fairview. The single vehicle rollover happened around 4:30 a.m. on Township Road 822 near Range Road 31.
The 16 year old girl was the passenger in the vehicle and was taken by STARS Air Ambulance to the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie. She later succumbed to her injuries.
The driver was an 18 year old man who was taken by ambulance to the Fairview Hospital. He was later taken to Edmonton where he remains in unknown condition.
Both teens were from Fairview. The youth’s names are not being released. An investigation into the crash continues and all factors are being considered.
