Work has begun on the 68th Avenue Twinning Project. The 8 point 8 million dollar road work has part of 68th closed between 108th street and Poplar Drive. The city would like residents to know that business around the area is still open including in Country Club Plaza, Mission Estates Plaza, Stoneridge, and the Community Knowledge Way.
They are also asking drivers to be mindful of the construction signage and follow detour signs around the area. A detour for east bound is to head North on 100th Street then east on 72nd Avenue and South on Poplar Drive. Westbound traffic can head north on Poplar Drive, west on 72nd Avenue and south on 100th street.
