Spring road bans are being lifted as of this morning. Starting at 9:00 am both the city and County will go back to 100 per cent axle weight. Those road bans apply to gravel roads within city limits as well as around the County.
The bans are put into place regularly by the province and municipalities to protect important infrastructure during maintenance, construction activities, or in this case, seasonal conditions such as spring thaw.
