At least ten fires are being blamed on arsonists in the BC Peace. According to BC Conservation officers, there has been at least three areas where BC Wildfire has found evidence that they were deliberately set.
There has been extra personnel brought in to investigate. With some fires that continue to burn, there has been no injuries so far but some property has been damaged.
Officers and BC Wildfire are looking for the people responsible and encourage the public to pass on any suspicious activity they have seen in the fire areas.
