The forecast for today is a high of 28, and by noon it was already 19 degrees. In 2015 at this time it only reached 11.5 degrees, which is around the average for this time of year.
Sunday came within three degrees of beating the record of 22.2 degrees set in 2010. The heat topped out at 19.5 degrees in the late evening.
