Attempted armed robbery at Mac’s Convenience Store

Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for two men suspected of trying to rob the Mac’s on Resources earlier this month. The hold up happened on April 2nd around 5:50 a.m.

The men reportedly entered the shop with what looked like guns behind their backs. The clerk working at the time was able to get to a safe place in the store while one of the suspects tried to get over the counter.

However, a customer came into the parking lot and startled the men. They ran away in an unknown direction without getting any loot. Police Dog Services were called in but couldn’t find them in the area.

The first man is described as roughly 5’10” to 6′ tall with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a black sweater with a white Crooks & Castles logo on the back, a white undershirt, gloves and something red covering his face.

Anyone with info is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
