Storm hosting Peace Region Spring Camp

One of the plans to get the Grande Prairie Storm back to a profitable championship team is to get more local talent on the ice. This weekend will be big for that as more than 100 players fill Revolution Place for the Storm’s Peace region spring camp.

Coach Kevin Higo says they’re hoping to meet players and they families earlier on in their careers and get them involved in the camps at a younger age. The public can get a look at the future of the Storm starting today.

There will be both bantam and midget athletes in the arena for four ice times each. The goalies have sessions on Sunday and there will be info for parents and players on the league and the team.
