UPDATE: ATCO says power has been restored to most customers in Grande Prairie. They add that the remaining customers in the airport area & Bear Creek golf course should be back up within an hour.
Power is out in the west side of Grande Prairie after a vehicle hit a power pole. ATCO says the pole was struck at 116th street north of 100 Ave. They add that the whole west side of Grande Prairie is out including the Wembley area. The Airport has also reported that the power is out but they are still open.
ATCO says there is no estimated time of restoration.
