The Home Hardware Canada Cup and the Scotties Tournament of Hearts are being followed up by another major curling bonspiel in Grande Prairie. The Rotary World Curling Championships happen every two years and will be in the Swan City next month.
All four Rotary clubs are hosting the event, which will feature 18 teams from across Canada and the U.S., as well as Scotland and England. This is the first time in the 40 year history of the competition that is has been put on in a western Canadian city.
There will be both a championship and a friendship division with play starting April 3rd and wrapping up on the 8th.
