Properties in Beaverlodge and properties in the west part of the county between range roads 10 to 14 will be having their properties re-assessed starting next week. Assessors come around on a five year cycle to see if the market value of a property has changed.
Chief Assessor Barry Donovan says residents don’t need to be home at the time, but if they are, County staff will be properly identified.
Assessors will be going door-to-door during regular business hours.
The properties between range roads 10 to 14 in Townships 752 to 670 being assessed include Demmit, Lymburn, Goodfare, Albright, Rio Grande, Hinton Trail, Halcourt, Homestead, and Valhalla Centre.
