Hythe sanitary main replacements to begin next week

Hythe construction crews will begin to replace sanitary mains after the long weekend.

Hythe says the construction is set to start sometime of the week of August 4. Replacement work will take place on 103 Street, 101 Avenue, and 105 Street.

Road closures, parking restrictions, and detours will be implemented periodically throughout construction.

Speed will be reduced in the construction zone, the hamlet is asking that residents obey all signs and flag persons, exercise extreme caution, and allow for extra travel time.

The project is expected to be completed mid October, weather dependent.
