Downtown lane closure for Hometown Hockey

A heads up for anyone driving downtown over the next several days: the right-hand southbound lane of 100th Street will be closed in front of Revolution Place.

The spot between 98th and 99th Street will be cordoned off for four days to make room for the equipment and vehicles needed for the Hometown Hockey event. The closure will last day and night and drivers are asked to use caution when heading through the area.

Hometown Hockey runs Saturday and Sunday with appearances by legendary broadcaster Ron MacLean and former NHL player Marty McSorely. Former Montreal Canadien Georges Laraque and two time gold medallist and Team Canada hockey captain Cassie Campbell are also set to be in the city.
