Mobile mammography trailer making High Prairie stop next week

A mobile mammography screening trailer will be making it’s way into High Prairie on Monday.

The screenings will be offered to individuals that are eligible aged from 45 to 74. The trailer will be parked at the High Prairie Health complex from Monday, Feb. 2nd, until the 6th.

Officials say that mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better, and could save lives down the road.

Screenings are free of charge to those that are eligible. However, appointments are required. To book an appointment, you can call 1-800-667-0604.
