All the donations will be going towards the GPPHF, and if the weather is within flying conditions, the helicopter will fly over to the hospital filled with teddies and have special guest Santa in the passenger seat on Sunday.

If you plan on flying in some teddies to Gemini Heli’s, they are asking for the toys and teddies to be unwrapped and new. Chief Pilot for Gemini Heli, Adam Shular says its great to give back to the community.

“Knowing that these toys will help children at the hospital it’s great, with that, it helps them all year around. Not only for Christmas, but any child that comes to the hospital can get toys, entertainment. This is helping the kids out in the community.”

The idea for the fundraiser came from Branden Soroka, who tragically passed away last year, Shular says by bringing back the event is to honour him.

The Gemini Heli hanger, can be found by the Grande Prairie Airport, beside STARS.
