Do you know an amateur athlete, coach, volunteer or corporation that supports them that deserves to be recognized? The Grande Prairie Sport Council is again teaming up with the Alberta Sport Development Centre – Northwest to host the second annual Northwest Alberta Sport Excellence Awards on March 12th.
They’re looking for nominations of champions of sport from across the region, including both athletes and their community. Nominations are due January 31st, and forms can be found online at www.gpsportcouncil.ca.
