Two Alexander Forbes students were approached by a man in a truck this morning. The incident happened near the K to 8 school around 8:30 a.m.
The suspect was in a black Ford truck with red writing on the side. He reportedly pulled up beside two girls as they walked to school and offered them money to get into his vehicle. The children turned him down and ran to school.
The driver is described as an older Caucasian man with straight black hair and a light, thin moustache. He was wearing a dark jacket, and his truck had silver rims and no canopy. Police are working to find the truck and driver and are asking for any information to be passed their way or Crime Stoppers.
Parents and caretakers are reminded to teach their young ones to stay away from strangers and report suspicious activity to police immediately.
