Valleyview RCMP are investigating a homicide on Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
Police say they responded to a call just after 6 a.m. Sunday, June 22nd, and upon arrival, one person was located deceased. Early investigation leads police to believe that this is an isolated incident, but there will be a heavy police presence for the time being. People are being asked to avoid the immediate area and refrain from posting the actions of police on social media, for both public, and police safety.
Police urge residents toc remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or tips to the Valleyview RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
