City, County, MD launch promotional video for local investment attraction

The City and County of Grande Prairie, along with the MD of Greenview have launched a new video to showcase their collaborative efforts in promoting Northwest Alberta as an investment hub.

The video showcases the three municipalities’ commitment to attracting investment, building on their diverse resources; and by combining the strengths of forestry, petrochemicals, agriculture, tourism, and manufacturing, the hope is the region will continue to grow as a dynamic environment for innovation in Canada.

The video features messages from municipal leaders, emphasizing the collaborative approach the three have taken to ensure economic development.

County of Grande Prairie Reeve Bob Marshall says the video captures the region’s “youthful, can-do attitude” and shows off the “exceptional” quality of life available in Grande Prairie.

The Northwest region of Alberta is an opportunity for all,” he says. “Whether it’s our raw materials, our innovative industries, or our collaborative approach, we’re ready to partner with you for success.”

Officials say the hope of the video is that it will serve as an invitation to investors, entrepreneurs, and businesses to discover the “untapped potential” available in Alberta’s northwest.
