A preliminary hearing is underway for one of the men charged in connection with a homicide at the Cutbank staging area. Thomas Sutton was recently charged with the second degree murder of 27 year old Devin Pisch, but at first RCMP were only able to lay weapons charges on two other men involved in the shooting.
Gregory Decker has plead not guilty to several firearms-related charges, including discharge with intent and unauthorized possession. His co-accused, Jerrid Rychard, was recently sentenced to four and a half years for drugs and weapons offences.
Decker’s preliminary hearing is set to run Tuesday through Thursday in Grande Prairie.
