GPFD rescues one during mobile home fire in Crystal Ridge

Crews from the Grande Prairie Fire Department responded to reports of a mobile home on fire at approximately 5:00 p.m. on November 26th.

According to the GPFD Fire Investigator, crews were called to the Crystal Ridge neighbourhood, and upon arrival, firefighters encountered smoke and flames coming from the front of the home.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and immediately began searching the home. One person was removed and was transported by EMS to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fire, and no further details have been made available at this time.
