Lakeland convenience store robbed at knifepoint

Police are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery at a convenience store in Lakeland early this morning. Police say shortly before 1 am a man entered the store and threatened the clerk with small knife, demanding money from the till.

The man took a small amount of cash and headed north in a dark coloured car after leaving the store. He is described as Caucasian with a medium build, no accent and 20 to 40 years old. He was wearing a blue hoodie and camo print pants at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the incident is asked to contact the local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
