A new $360,000 dollar nurse call system has been installed at the Fairview Health Complex, thanks to some funding from the province. The health facility in Fairview received $560,000 in total from the Infrastructure Maintenance Program to help take care of some necessary upgrades.
The remaining $170,000 is being used to renovate the building’s loading dock, which keeps medical materials, food, and other supplies flowing into the building.
Alberta Health Services currently has about 270 projects receiving upgrades with funding from the Infrastructure Maintenance Program.
