B.C. plane crash victims ID’d

Two Vernon, B.C. men have been identified as the victims of a small plane crash near Fort St. John Friday. 26 year old Florian Michael Chapman and 56 year old Leonard Bradley Chapman were killed when the privately-owned Cessna 206 crashed on takeoff.

It was on a grass airstrip in Baldonnel, about 15 kilometres south of the city around 3:15 p.m. The Transportation Safety Board and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating their deaths.

Next of kin has been notified.
