Anyone who lives on the south side of Grande Prairie and regularly uses 68 Avenue is encouraged to attend an open house on the upcoming changes to the road. The city is planning to begin twinning 68 Avenue between 108 Street and Poplar Drive early next year.
There will also be a new bridge installed for the eastbound lanes and traffic signal upgrades added to intersections along the road.
The open house is being held September 8 at the Coca Cola Centre in the Ainsworth Room from 4 to 8 pm. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to look at the design plans, ask questions, and provide feedback.
