A series of online and public consultations on the subject of climate change will be available to Albertans later this month.
Earlier this summer the NDP government announced the creation of a climate change panel, which will provide advice as the province works on building a new proposal to address climate change. The consultations will begin the week of August 24th. Meanwhile the panel will also be consulting with industry, municipalities, academics, First Nations and Metis communities.
The province’s proposal is will be presented during the COP21 world summit being held in Paris in December.
