Witness reports of break and enters in the rural Grande Prairie area have led to the arrest of a 28 year old Valleyview man. RCMP says Randy Fortier was seen stealing a quad in the Teepee Creek area, but abandoned it when followed by the property owner.
The next day, residents reportedly saw the same man committing similar crimes, and he was arrested. Fortier is in police custody facing charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and theft over $5,000. His first court appearance is set for Monday.
