Drivers are being reminded to be aware and follow the rules of the road after a truck collided with a school bus Tuesday afternoon, while attempting to pass another vehicle.
Beaverlodge RCMP responded to a report of the collision around 3:54 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26th. According to officials, EMS assessed the 15 children on the bus and reported no major injuries; the driver and passenger of the truck were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
“In light of this, the Alberta RCMP wants to remind the public of the importance of respecting signage and traffic safety laws and always being aware of school buses on the road.”
